The meeting will be hosted by our President, Mr Andrew Price.
It will be held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel (follow the links below for further information about the conference)

Knee reviewers meeting

Members may register for FREE using the online registration system until 20th January 2019, after this date members will need to pay a fee to register.
Non-Members may register online at the ‘Early Bird’ rate until 20th January 2019, after this date registration rates will increase.

Online registration: Will open on 7th December 2018.
Online registration will close on the 17th March 2019.
On site registration will open at 7.30am on Tuesday 26th March 2019.

Please note the BASK cancellation policy:
Up to 31st January 2019 – 25% cancellation charge
Up to 28th February 2019 – 50% cancellation charge
After 1st March 2019 – 100% cancellation charge.

BASK Members who register for free and do not attend the meeting* will incur an administrative fee in the sum of £25 per day to cover incurred costs, this will be invoiced post meeting.

*without informing the Events Organiser in writing to the below email address by 25th March 2019 at 5pm

All cancellations must be received in writing by the relevant date to admin@baskonline.com
Refund payments will be made post-event less the applicable cancellation charges.

The advance and discounted rate agreed for BASK delegates is currently £138 inclusive of VAT per night and will include breakfast, car parking is at an extra cost though there are several car parks available in close proximity to the hotel.

The BASK annual dinner will be held on 26th March 2019 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel with pre-dinner drinks served on the British Airways i360 flight pod

Those wishing to attend must register online through the Conference Registration link.
Please note that entrance to both the pre-dinner drinks and the annual dinner is by TICKET ONLY, places are strictly limited.

The deadline for Call for Papers has now expired, all submissions will now be reviewed and all authors will be in receipt of a notification email on either 3rd or 4th January 2019 as to the outcome of their abstract (please check your spam folder if not received to your Inbox).

Authors selected to present a Podium, Poster or E-poster presentation MUST REGISTER online to attend the meeting.

The BASK Golf Outing: Monday 25th March 2019 at the East Brighton Golf Club (more information tbc)
Golf with Lunch or Golf with Lunch & evening Dinner will be available.
Those wishing to attend must register online through the Conference Registration link.

The last date for booking study leave (8 weeks notice) for BASK 2019 is 29th January 2019.

CPD points will be confirmed.

Fixed points are usually awarded for educational content with a further 1 point per hour of free paper sessions attended, providing the papers were relevant to your practice

In order to qualify for points you must also make reflective notes for filing in your personal portfolio

Attendance certificates will be issued usually in June post-meeting, only to those who have successfully completed the Online Meeting Feedback Survey which will be sent to the email address used when registering to attend the meeting within 4 weeks of the meeting close.

A request to complete the SurveyMonkey form will be sent to the e-mail address you gave when registering for the conference, usually within 4 weeks after the meeting.

One reminder will be sent 2 weeks after the initial request, if you do not receive the request please contact the Webmaster.

Please note due to the recent GDPR legislation, you will be asked upon registering for the meeting if you wish to receive emails. If you do not select this option BASK will be unable to contact you via e-mail regarding survey and you will therefore not receive a certificate. A certificate will only be issued on completion of the survey:


Once the survey is closed it will NOT be re-opened and no further certificates will be sent out. BASK enforces this rule rigidly!

The BASK 2020 Annual Meeting will be in: Oxford

Dates: Monday 22nd June – Wednesday 24th June 2020 (between the summer half term and summer school holidays)

The date of the meeting is later than in previous years due to BASK hosting a combined meeting for the Combined Orthopaedic Knee Societies (COKS)
