Welcome to the BASK 2020 Spring Annual Meeting home page.

The BASK 2020 Annual Meeting incorporating the biennial COKS Meeting (including an ACPA Parallel Meeting) will be hosted by our President, Mr Andrew Price and is to be held at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford (follow the links below for further information about the conference)

Members Free Registration will open for 8 weeks from 6 November 2019 to 5 January 2020

(After this date members standard registration fee will apply)

Early Bird registration for non-members will open on 6 November 2019 and close on 5 January 2020

Online registration will CLOSE at midnight on 6 April 2020

Onsite registration will open at 7.45am on Thursday 16th April 2020

Presenting Authors MUST register online to attend no later than 7th March 2020 to be included in the meeting programme.

BASK members; can register to attend the annual conference FREE of charge within the Members Free Registration period, provided that their membership subscription payment has been collected at the start of the year*

For individuals who have applied to become a BASK Member (to be ratified at the meeting AGM) provided an online membership application has been completed and a direct debit form has been received back by the BASK Events team before the date of the end of the Members Free Registration period for that years meeting, in order for their first subscription payment to be collected at the start of the year, can also register FREE of charge to attend*

*Membership and subscription payment status will be checked annually and any outstanding subscriptions on 1st February for registered delegates will be either due immediately or the Non-Member equivalent conference charge will be payable.


Please note the BASK cancellation policy:
Up to 31st January 2020 – 25% cancellation charge
Up to 28th February 2020 – 50% cancellation charge
After 1st March 2020 – 100% cancellation charge.

BASK Members who register for free and do not attend the meeting, without informing the Events Organiser in writing to the below email address by 15th April 2020 at 5pm, will incur an administrative fee in the sum of £25 per day to cover incurred costs, this will be invoiced post meeting.

Refund payments will be made post-event less the applicable cancellation charges.

The BASK/COKS/ACPA headquarters hotel is the Randolph Hotel, Oxford

The BASK Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday 16th April at Oxford Town Hall.

After Dinner Speaker: Dr Phil Hammond

The BASK/COKS Dinner event will be held on the evening of Friday 17th April 2020, delegates are invited to purchase a ticket to attend.

Those wishing to attend must register online through the Conference Registration link.
Please note that entrance to both the BASK Gala Dinner and BASK/COKS Dinner is by TICKET ONLY, places are strictly limited.

Further details on timings etc will be emailed to all those who have registered for the dinner events ahead of the date.

The BASK Golf Outing: Wednesday 15th April 2020 venue to be confirmed.
Golf with Lunch or Golf with Lunch & evening Dinner will be available.

Authors will be informed by email of the success of their abstracts by 2 December 2019 (please check spam folders if not received to your inbox)

Presenting Authors must be registered to attend the meeting by midnight on Saturday 7th March 2020

The last date for booking study leave (8 weeks notice) for BASK 2019 is 19th February 2020.

Attendance certificates will be issued via email usually in May post-meeting, only to those who have successfully completed the Online Post-Meeting Feedback Survey.  A request to complete the SurveyMonkey Feedback Survey will be sent to the e-mail address you gave when registering for the conference.

One reminder will be sent 2 weeks after the initial request, if you do not receive the request please contact the Webmaster.

Please note due to the recent GDPR legislation, you will be asked upon registering for the meeting if you wish to receive emails. If you do not select this option BASK will be unable to contact you via e-mail regarding survey and you will therefore not receive a certificate. A certificate will only be issued on completion of the survey:


Once the survey is closed it will NOT be re-opened and no further certificates will issued, BASK enforces this rule rigidly!

CPD points of up to 6 per day attended (maximum 12 CPD points for two attended days)

Fixed points are usually awarded for educational content with a further 1 point per hour of free paper sessions attended, providing the papers were relevant to your practice

In order to qualify for points you must also make reflective notes for filing in your personal portfolio
